Blondeau's work follows in the formal, experimental tradition of the New Bauhaus where she studied with Aaron Siskind and Joseph Jachna. She employed a number of differnet strategies, but is best known for her long strip pictures produced by a technique of continuous exposure of a roll of film and contact printing the entire roll as one photogrphic print.
