In his work Parker combines assembled images and original text to create layers of information, juxtaposing personal memories with common experiences. He often utilizes visual and literal buns as strategy to engage the viewer. He is the author of "A close Brush with Reality: Photographs and Writings 1972-1981" (VSW Press, 1981).
