Exhibitions
Visual Studies Workshop provides an international view of contemporary and historical exhibitions. We feature media-based art that includes photography, mixed media, video, film, audio, books-as-art, digital, computer, and installations. Our endeavor is to present cross-disciplinary ideas, forms, and processes not typically supported in more mainstream museums, commercial, or academic galleries in order to provide general audiences access to under-recognized and emerging artists of today and times past.

We have two exhibition spaces on-site: VSW's Siskind Gallery, and our Bookstore and Gallery. The Siskind Gallery is an expansive space used for special, large-scale exhibitions with an adjacent media projection room. Our dynamic Bookstore and Gallery is a more intimate space for solo artists and artists’ books exhibitions. This space connects to an auditorium for large-scale moving image screenings. On our web site we also provide exhibitions available exclusively online.
