About this objectLarge format camera with a hanging black tarp. A mirror on the camera reflects the hand of an angel that is part of a backdrop seen in other of Parker’s photographs. This photograph was taken as part of a project undertaken by Parker and her husband Avon Neal about itinerant photographers of Guatemala throughout the 1970s. Images from these trips were published in 1984’s Los Ambulantes: The Itinerant Photographers of Guatemala.
