Name/Title[Stereographic view of Third Street, Ouray, Colorado]
About this objectAccording to an inscription on the back of this stereographic view, the mounted photographs show the east side of Third Street in Ouray, Colorado. Several men congregate along the storefronts which line Third Street. A circular clock is suspended on a signpost on the street’s closer end, and the signs supported by the post connect with the side of the closest building. These signs read “DRUGS” and “CARPENTER ASHLEY,” with the former on top of the latter. Behind the storefronts, a large and rocky cliff face is surmounted by trees. Mountains are visible in the background.
