Subject and Association DescriptionFrank Fiske was a photographer, musician, author, soldier, and an office holder in Sioux County, North Dakota. Fiske operated a photography shop in Fort Yates, North Dakota, taking over the business at age 17 in 1900. He wrote two books about the Sioux and documented the Sioux through photographs.
