William H.Kibbe (b. 1846, d. 1910) was a lifelong resident and pillar of the community of Johnstown, Fulton County, New York. A lifelong artist, Kibbe began his career as a engraver and later opened his own photographic studio in 1871 in Johnstown. Kibbe was a published photographer in many magazines of the time including Philadelphia Photographer, Photographic Journal of America, Wilson’s Photographic Magazine, and Photographic Mosaics.
