Founded in 2016, the Rochester Democratic Socialists of America (ROCDSA) believe that both the economy and society should be run democratically to meet human needs, not to make profits for a few. Members of the Socialist Feminist Collective from ROCDSA have curated a screening of films from the VSW collection that engage with the ideals of socialist feminism, human rights and economic, racial, and gender justice. Free to VSW and ROCDSA members/ nonmembers $5 Saturday, November 17th  | 2 pm

540WMain Learning Academy is a grassroots non-profit “communiversity” with a mission to enrich the historic National Register Susan B. Anthony Preservation district as well as connect greater Rochester to the neighborhood through art and wellness courses, programs and events for children and adults.  Director & Founder Calvin Eaton has curated a selection of films from the VSW collection that address the causes and effects of gentrification, with a focus on the urban redevelopment strategies in Rochester’s history and future.  Join us for…
