Tracing image production strategies developed within and alongside social movements here and elsewhere, this four part film series sets out to produce a new discursive space for reading movies as expressions of solidarity. All events will take place in the VSW Microcinema. Curated by Casey Asprooth Jackson

Cinema Salon is a curated film series presenting contemporary and historical films of any genre in the VSW Microcinema. Following the salon tradition, this series aims to bring together an audience for critical engagement with film as a powerful social force.

All programs are free to view. Please consider a donation to the VSW Film Series so that we can continue to support artists, and preserve and share our collections with the public.
