VSW’s ability to provide free exhibitions, to provide publications, and to maintain our collections, is largely due to the generous gifts of friends and supporters like you. As a small, privately funded non-profit alternative arts and education organization, we vitally rely on your support to continue to grow and succeed in our mission.
There are many ways you can give to VSW. You could sponsor an exhibition, underwrite an issue of Afterimage or an artists’ book. You could make a named or legacy gift to help preserve our print and book collections. You could make a one-time monetary contribution to maintain our historic buildings. Alumni Giving and Scholarships
Provide a scholarship or give a minimum $1,000 gift in your name or that of a loved-one to support one of our full-time MFA students. For many of our students, VSW is the only place they have applied or want to study. Larger programs and universities offer tuition remission or more generous financial packages. A gift in any amount will support aspiring media artists, educators, and researchers who think critically and are willing to work outside the educational norms. You will also be helping VSW attract the most engaged and hard-working students.
We currently have a match opportunity of $25,000 in support of a graduate student stipend fund. Our goal is one hundred $250 gifts for student scholarships by September 1, 2012. Be one of the one hundred people to support upcoming students who will expand the potential of the media arts, direct our arts organizations in the future, and be educators who preserve our mission.
