“My short documentary ‘A Litany for Survival’ premiered at the Portland Film Festival and was picked up by NBC Universal for streaming on their Xfinity on Demand platform. I’m currently finishing production on my feature length documentary, ‘Pressure Gradient’ that explores the shades between love, rage, and rebellion as a black person attempting to survive in Rochester, NY.”

Martin Hawk is a cinematographer, photographer, and editor currently based in Rochester, NY. While at VSW, in addition to working on his film, Martin will be printing, editing and sequencing photographs for a book project.
