Exhibitions Reprographic Understanding by Adam Kujawski
February 12-March 8, 2020 Project Space Two
For their residency, Adam Kujawski will use the archives at VSW to experiment with projection and create a book containing a series of prints. These works will explore the shift from abstract to representational and part to whole through the exploration of halftones, film grain, and other patterns used to compose works found in the collection.
Adam Kujawski is a multidisciplinary artist and designer based in Rochester, NY. Their work, often concerned with sense and multiplicity of understanding, is held in multiple private and public collections. Adam holds two BFAs in painting and printmaking from the Cleveland Institute of Art.
Support for this exhibition came from Max and Marian Farash Foundation, and Joy of Giving Something.
