Project Space Artist Residency

Salome Kokoladze is a media and performance artist from Adjara, Georgia. Through her multi-disciplinary practice, Kokoladze explores the interdependence of animal and human cultures. From her avante-garde performances, where she learns movement from animals such as howler monkeys, to utilizing scientific data visualization techniques as a way to document bird songs during the COVID-19 pandemic, Kokoladze seeks to unearth information often tacitly embedded in the movements and habits of the body.

Kokoladze is currently the editor of an experimental online publication Infrasonic.
