• Visual Studies Workshop is proud to partner with Visual AIDS for Day With(out) Art 2020 by presenting TRANSMISSIONS, a program of six new videos considering the impact of HIV and AIDS beyond the United States.

In concert with this program, VSW is featuring three unique videos from the VSW Film Archive that document and confront the AIDS epidemic. These videos were produced by educators, journalists, students and artists attempting to understand and interpret the social, cultural and personal impact of the AIDS crisis.

For more information on the VSW Film Archive, visit VSW.ORG/Collections.

The VSW Film Series is made possible by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew M. Cuomo and the New York State Legislature, and by the ArtWorks program of the National Endowment for the Arts.
