Benefit Gala Celebrating Dawoud Bey
On October 3 from 6-9pm VSW will honor visionary photographer, educator, and MacArthur Genius Fellow Dawoud Bey during a special evening of celebration. Bey’s ties to VSW date to 1989, when he continued his celebrated Street Portrait series during an artist residency, capturing compelling images of Rochesterians as part of this landmark series.
The evening features food, drinks, DJ and the opportunity to bid, win and support the bold and experimental programming VSW brings to the Rochester community. Tickets are still available!
