• The VSW Salon is an in-person and online engagement featuring film screenings, artist talks, Community Curator events, performances, photo presentations and conversations. VSW Salon showcases the work of local and national artists working in hybrid and experimental approaches to film, photography, performance, installation and archival research.

This Fall, the VSW Salon will take place online as we prepare to relocate. From September through December, the VSW “web-salon” will feature a topic, artist and/or selections from the VSW archives that will be available to stream throughout the month. We will host a monthly conversation with curators to learn more about the program, and there will be a weekly selection highlighted in the VSW newsletter. Programs will include archival audio recordings, recently digitized video tapes, panel discussions, artist talks and Community Curator programs.

Online programs will be streamed via VSW’s twitch.tv unless otherwise noted. Programs are available to stream free of charge, but feel free to support the work we are doing through a donation or by becoming a member!

Please email accommodations@vsw.org with any accommodation requests or accessibility inquiries.
