To culminate the exhibition Peer Bode: Signal into Memory, curators Tara Merenda Nelson and Nilson Carroll will be joined by artist Peer Bode for a casual talk in the VSW gallery. Join us for an open conversation with the artist about each of the works in the exhibition, and the process of preserving and presenting early video works in a contemporary context.
This event will also feature a release of our latest VSW Press publication, Peer Bode: Open Fields, an artist book featuring extended views of Bode’s videos, works on paper and ephemera from his personal archive, as well as an introduction by Sherry Miller Hocking and a conversation with Bode and artist Hank Rudolph.
