The Visual Studies Workshop Theater is available for rental for presentations, gatherings and screenings.
Included in the VSW Theater rental:
- Seating for up to 90 people on vaulted stairs, with accessible seating in the first row (10 seats.)
- An accessible platform stage (20′ x 7.5′) for presentation (no backstage) and a podium with a microphone.
- A 15’x10’ entrance area that can be used for display area, greeting table, coat room or cold refreshments (Water + cookies allowed with base price. Additional food increases costs, see info sheet download.)
- Digital video projection (projectionist included.)
- 16mm and 8mm film and 35mm slide projection (projectionist included.)
- A sound system with microphones available (4 wireless and 4 wired.)
- Zone controlled lighting that is fixed and dimmable. No theater lighting.
Rental fees begin at $500 and include: 5 hours of access, 2 staff to manage door, sound and projection needs. Any half hour over 5 hours is an extra $100 per half hour.
