Media Underground II: REMNANTS

Jack Waters and Peter Cramer will be visiting Visual Studies Workshop for an installation of REMNANTS, a modular and morphing live performance combining film and slide projections, digital media and audio experiments. Described as a “mashup moving image dance party”, this site-specific installation was first produced in 1995 for the NYC Fringe Festival and has had subsequent iterations at the MIX NYC Queer Experimental Film Festival and Microscope Gallery in Brooklyn, NY. This event will serve not only as a celebration of this work, but also as a gathering space for visual artists and collaborators in Rochester and beyond.
